ALBUM 17 IS HERE! I’m so very proud (and honestly kind of amazed, cuz I pulled most of this together in ONE WEEK with no studio engineer!) to unveil for you folx: QUIET STORMS! Out now to download for $8.00 exclusively on Bandcamp with ALL artist proceeds (85% of total sales, after Bandcamp take their 15%) donated to Black Lives Matter, Trans Justice Funding Project, The Okra Project, Black Trans Travel Fund, and The Bail Project. Receipts of donations will be posted on my Instagram page weekly from here on out.

You have the option to pay more than $8 for the album, but I just want to note: Even if you pay extra, it’s all still getting donated (If you’re looking to support me financially & grab some other art of mine, you can order a book at nathanveshecco.com or download/stream all my other music on iTunes/Spotify/etc).

I’d like to thank my two very special guests on this album: My friend Cecil, who created and led the opening chant at the protest outside the OC board of supervisors meeting a few days ago, and my dear madre Lynda Terry, who appears on and co-wrote Voice Like An Angel (For Breonna). Thank you so much also to the great Kelsey Berrien for her gorgeous album cover, which helped me decide upon the title — a tribute both to the radio format pioneered by WHUR FM’s late Melvin Lindsey, and to the personal and widespread crises of systemic racism & inequity we are fighting today.

Check the latest post on my Instagram for album liner notes, Breonna Taylor resources (KEEP CALLING!), info on pending anti-lynching legislation, and an image of Tete Gulley — one of many Black Trans womxn murdered recently in america. I dedicate this album to her, resting in power until there can be peace.

america is guilty, after all. it’s like a quiet storm. add your pronouns to your social media bios & DEFUND THE POLICE!!! Much love — NMV 🖤
